Our Team

Jim Charters is the President of Whistler Construction Company and is a long-term resident of Whistler. It was Jim's love of skiing that initially brought him to Whistler. Jim is a Level 3 Ski Instructor and has taught for 25 years. Jim began his career as a Journeyman Carpenter and through "hands-on" experience, dedication and commitment, developed Whistler Construction Company into a successful construction and project management firm. Jim has been very involved in Whistler since it's inception and is a founding member and past-president of the CHBA - Sea to Sky Home Builders' Association. Jim is currently on the Municipal Building Task Force and Chair of the Whistler Board of Variance. Building in Whistler since 1967 has made Jim an expert in constructing in our alpine environment.
